Employers also look out for strong interpersonal skills, as well as organization and management skills, initiative, and most importantly, good judgment. Be confident, not arrogant.

I have also looked into AEAP, which by all accounts, appears to be a great organization. It’s a great way to build confidence and see what else is going on out there, you might find some great groups or training available locally. This group is great on skill building. However, I can't find that it has a local chapter.
