Interesting survey from Google on tablet PC use.    Google surveyed over 1400 tablet PC owners and found: 68% of tablet users spend at least 1 hour a day on their tablet.   One of the most interesting findings of the survey is that tablets - at least so far - stay in the home.  "  .

  The Pew data comes from a BLS survey that specifically asks about 2nd "jobs"   The Freelancers Union/Elance survey asks respondents a series of questions such as: Do you do any work outside of your primary position to earn additional money? While this doesn't sound like a big difference, we think it is.

Technology is enabling freelancing -- 73% of freelancers said that technology has made it easier to find freelance work -- up 4 points (from 69%) since 2014.
