I was in a workshop today on presentation skills and one of the things they had us do was present something to the group while they filmed us. Other than the extra work I need to do at the gym to tone up and trim down, I saw some good qualities as well and it was helpful to see myself present. Thanks Anonymous for sharing.

Some people in the office were trying to get the remote working as we had a PowerPoint presentation coming up and were calling it things like remote thingy , remote slide clicker, wireless mouse so I finally asked, "Does anyone know what the official name for that thing is?" It's called a Presentation Remote. Thanks Patty.

The food was to be brought in after the presentation to the guests. The Chairman announced at the end of the presentation that refreshments and goodies would be brought in. Once they left a food cart in the hall right outside the meeting room. The mayor was in attendance, the media and local celebrities.

You can also start to create an agenda from the last minutes and present it to be approved by the Chair of the meeting. I act calm when presented with the problem and ask my boss to leave it with me to come back with a solution and give a short timeframe that I will get back to him. It's a bit of an act isn't it? Inside you may not have a clue what the answer is, but usually there is someone who does so I always base my answer on that.

With me it is a hit and miss sort of thing and sometimes I am funny, sometimes I am melancholy. How do comedians do it? If you have very funny writers around you, your material will be great.
