The purpose of the meeting should be to ask questions, get direction, provide and/or receive information. that I have questions about or want to provide her with information. It is better to get this information in a regular meeting with your boss, than on the fly. It is always good to be prepared when meeting with your boss.

If there is sharing of information among the admins, then we can learn from each other and we all grow. You can do it formally in a teaching format or informally talking to each other at a team meeting. The audience will certainly know it if I don't. The same can apply in your workplace. Especially when it comes to technology.

I call it getting into the interview mode. Don't forget to interview them too. You want to be sure this is the job for you.

Our boss either has allowed us access because he or she is just overwhelmed with email and has no choice, but also because they trust that we will keep the information to ourselves and not spread information in the office.
