Is it your responsibility, as a Virtual Assistant, to tell a client how to structure his business to get his support needs met, how to spend his money, or how to protect himself legally? Possibly not. But it’s smart to have the conversation as it’s merited, and share any input about the topic that you might have.

If you know anything about me, by now you probably know that I’m not a goal-driven person. I still have no idea what it really means or how to make it happen, but I believe it will happen. Without push, or driving goals. I didn’t need goals, or mountains to climb before I die. Unfortunately (?) I didn’t have one.

So all those teachings I mentioned before probably didn’t come with context, or a different way to reach the same end goal. And so, rather than learning what’s appropriate to share and what might not be and why and how to do it differently if differently feels better, little girls everywhere learned to just keep their mouths shut.

Maybe he's a "them that can't, teach" person and he doesn't know how to walk it. Keep your eyes on your goal, take every step in the direction of it, and you will not fail to reach it—no matter what anyone says to you or thinks of you and how you run your business and life.
