My mind seems to go completely blank when it comes to listing my achievements and what goals I want to accomplish. What are Your Goals? Do you have goals that you have set for yourself in your position? I don’t look forward to filling out my performance appraisal form, especially the self evaluation part.

Goals to help you work by As an assistant I often feel left in the dark as to what my executive's goals may be and how I can help him or her achieve them. An assistant who buys into their boss's objectives and goals can be a key player and help to them.

My boss knows that I will act on his requests and my goal will be that nothing is going to get missed. Let them know you are going to follow through and get the needed information to get the job done. Once they have that confidence you are off to a great start.

My goal for these webinars is to make minute-taking not seem so scarey by breaking down the steps you should take before, during and after the meeting. It is time again for another minute-taking webinar. To take good minutes you need to be prepared and informed.

When I was in school the teachers drilled proofing skills into us as they taught us the goal was to create the best product we could and proofing was part of the process to do that. I think the goal should really be the same as my teachers taught me -- to have the most professional and accurate looking document that we can.
