Gmail Tip: Filtering Unread Emails

Office Organization Success

I’m not a huge fan of Gmail and only use it when I’m travelling (I much prefer Outlook to run my business), but these past two weeks I’ve had to rely on Gmail a lot as I’m back in the UK due to a family emergency. Should You Go Back to School?

On The Job

When I graduated from college you could not have gotten me back in a classroom for any amount of money. Nope. Could not have paid me to go back to school. I was done. Kaput. Enough. No more term papers, no more boring lectures, no more studying for stuff I didn't care about. Flash forward many years and the career I loved -- journalism -- was going down the toilet faster than a dead goldfish.

Small Business Labs

Water, or more accurately the lack of water, is becoming a big deal.  For most Americans access to clean, safe water is a given. Water is so cheap we give it little thought.  For example, despite living in an area with high water rates, until today I had no idea how much a gallon of water costs (it's about a penny, which seems really, really cheap).  This is starting to change.  The Week's The Revenge of Water provides a good summary of the potential w
