This is a topic I've been writing about for years, but many people have decided they can ignore such advice because of Mark Zuckerberg. After all, Zuckerberg is a bazillionaire and he dresses like a 17-year-old. The thinking is that if Zuckerberg can be a success dressed in a hoodie and jeans, then why can't everyone?

According to the study, nearly 1% of U.S. adults earned income in September 2015 via one of the growing number of firms that are part of the sharing, gig or on-demand economy.
