    For the purposes of this forecast, "fully adapted to cloud computing" means being completely or very confident using cloud tools to manage a business.    But despite relatively high cloud adoption rates, relatively few (37%) small businesses report being confident using the cloud to manage their business.

The Kaufman Foundation and LegalZoom have teamed up to produce a quarterly Startup Confidence Index. The goal of the index is to measure how much confidence startups have in their business and the economy. Their  most recent survey shows that 53% of startups are home-based. also tend to be home-based.

According to a recent survey close to 60% of men over the age of 50 with incomes of $75,000 or higher reported not feeling confident they will be able to maintain their current lifestyle in retirement.  Even more women, close to 70%, report not feeling confident.
