Does your company have a policy on what style they want used for signing for someone else? This is the normal practice I have seen for signing on someone's behalf: Type their usual signature line, sign your name above it and handwrite ‘for’ beside their typewritten name. It is also acceptable to use ‘per’ or ‘p.p.

is the business travel being charged to the company or a client? If your company policy allows it, I have found it more convenient and time saving to use a travel agency to make travel arrangements. Depending on how busy you are and your office policy, you can decide whether you prefer to book it yourself or use a travel agency.

Your company may have a strict policy on what they want you to include in the signature line and what it should look like, but generally you would include your name, title, company name and address, telephone and fax number.

1] On further investigation it was found that garbage from a Toronto clinic that was earmarked for shredding, instead went to a recycling company where it was sold to the film company. Privacy is serious business in Canada and the companies involved were held accountable. Imagine being the employees involved in this situation?
