If you are sending a large mailing to contacts from different companies, a good idea is to put their email addresses in the b.c.c. Caution: Some companies have firewalls to try to control the mass emails that come into their organization. section and then send it. This is particularly important in a business mass email mailing.

This is the normal practice I have seen for signing on someone's behalf: Type their usual signature line, sign your name above it and handwrite ‘for’ beside their typewritten name. In e-mail it can be less formal and if writing an internal e-mail I would use a short form, but when writing an e-mail to a client outside of my company I would be more formal and write the words out. Business writing is considered more formal. I would only use short forms like GB, OMG, LOL etc. in personal emails.
