The ups and downs of working from home

This meant starting up my home computer from 1997, connecting it to my dial-up internet and attempting to log onto the torturously slow remote email system. I guess I saw working from home as either skiving off or something the grown-up managers did with their superior equipment! No make-up, no hair styling… no clothes.
