Take a Leadership Role in IAAP. I was no longer an anonymous admin; I was officially seen as a leader in the admin field. Present at an Admin Conference.

We need to open new administrative files for 2008. It will be a busy week when we get back to work in 2008. Happy New Year everyone and remember to date all your letters and documents "2008". A good suggestion would be to write "2008" on a yellow sticky and stick it on your computer where you can see it as a reminder.

IAAP is a group of assistants who get together and encourage each other in our jobs and careers. Read professional magazines when you get the opportunity.
