Don't Be the Office Spook

Office Dynamics

Halloween is a great time to play the different characters or personalities we can’t be in real life. Maybe you will be dressing up to trick-or-treat with your kids tonight. I know lots of parents in Las Vegas who do that and it is great fun to see the entire family dressed up. In my neighborhood, the adult homeowners often dress up and have their yards and homes decorated like in the movies.

I heard an executive say it best a few weeks ago at an event we were hosting: today, it is about work/life integration ! A small shift in words will make a huge shift in our thinking and how we approach our day.

Think Before You Retaliate

Office Dynamics

Welcome to another great week of October! With all that is going on in our world and our challenging economy, you may find people’s patience faltering. Several organizations I personally work with are cutting back on personnel. That means the individuals who are left at the company have more on their plate. Or you just may find people to be a little short tempered or maybe you are having difficulty on certain days not letting stress get to you.
